Immigration

• America has always been a nation of immigrants.
• Immigration is one of the greatest socioeconomic assets of the United States, because it brings ambition and determination to our populace.
• Individuals that seek to immigrate to our great country are filled with the American Dream, and have the grit and determination to leave the country they were born in to seek out that dream in the US.
• Immigration is a very good thing for America, but as it is with all good things in life, it must be had in reasonable moderation.
• Our country is big and wealthy, and with a strong economy, it has the resources to provide a wonderful environment for its citizens, but that environment, as strong as it is, still is a fragile ecosystem that must be tended carefully.
• America welcomes growth with open arms, but that growth must be manageable and sustainable; not just for the good of its citizens, but for the good of the immigrant as well.
• Without adequate capacity for growth, immigration will beget shortage and need, which ultimately leads to chaos.
• America must solidify its borders so that it can bolster its immigration capabilities.
• Illegal immigration must be stopped so that legal immigrants can properly assimilate and acculturate within America.
• Additionally, immigration must organized based on a merit based system.
• Finally, applications and processes for legal immigration must be streamlined so that the need for illegal immigration is dissolved.
